Do
Measure your ring size at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Consider the width of the band, a particularly thick band will feel tighter than a thin band so you may want to buy a full size larger than your normal ring size. Ensure that your ring sizer fits comfortably, snug enough so that so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
Don't Do
Measure your hands when they are cold, they may have shrunk up to half a size. Alcohol and salt can make your fingers swell so refrain from measuring your ring size after any champagne and canapé filled evenings.
Buying a gift?

- The best method to store stringed jewelry pieces is by keeping them straight in a box or hung to avoid their thread from breaking.
- Avoid spraying perfume directly on your jewelry. Tip: Always wear your jewelry after you’ve sprayed your perfume, best avoiding your neck or wrists.
- To protect your jewelry pieces from any blemishes, avoid scratching them against solid surfaces.
- For the ultimate shine, take off your jewelry pieces whenever you’re about to start any housework or take a shower.
- For an intact copper jewelry surface, do not put your pieces in direct contact with any chemicals such as cleansers, perfumes, disinfectants, and also lotions or creams that may contain acidic ingredients that could react with your pieces.
- For a long-lasting shine with copper jewelry, be sure to take them off before you dip into any water, pools, or beaches because chlorine and saltwater will react with the metal and cause it to tarnish.
- When you’re about to store your jewelry pieces, wrap them in a cotton cloth and put them in their own box; this will keep the pieces in their finest form.
